Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program

The Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program (SADAP) is designed to serve those in our community who are not eligible for governmentally funded services and are, therefor, unable to remain adherent to their HIV drug regimen.

The SADAP program assists all individuals in the community regardless of race, age or gender. Eligibility for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is determined by very strict financial guidelines. Drug assistance services (co-pays and procurement) are available for individuals whose income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. Any client whose monthly income is above the 200% level is denied assistance with their drug needs. SADAP address the AIDS community of working poor that are just above the county standards. The grants will provide coordinated medical co-pays and drug assistance alternatives. If you are Positive and need assistance the Sisters are here to serve you.

Heaven Can Wait - Animal Society

Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, a non-profit 501(c)3 animal humane organization, was formed in 2000 by a group of 5 concerned citizens with the idea of building a beautiful 20 acre sanctuary to house all of the unwanted animals in our community.  At the time, though, animals were dying at rate of around 30,000 per year in our local shelters.  As they took the time to research how other communities reduced their impound and euthanasia rates, they discovered a common denominator: spay/neuter.  Therefore, they decided to refocus the majority of their resources away from rescue and toward promoting spay/neuter as the solution to the tragic pet-overpopulation problem here in Las Vegas.  Through their targeted and aggressive spay/neuter programs they have prevent thousands of unwanted litters each year.
